HERstory

Leadership program for young women.

Empowering and guiding young women to have the courage and the strength to use the stories that have been given to them through history, art, and spirituality and write their own story. In their own words, from their hearts and minds.

Based on the teachings of Don Miguel Ruiz, The Four Agreements and Mastery of Love, the young women will go through an eight-week program exploring the Ancient Toltec tradition of spirituality and dive into the history and art of the great Greek goddesses. The program will be led by Nikki Orietas and Raquel Benavidez, both scholars and practitioners in the Toltec traditions.

The program culminates with a twelve-day Power Journey to Greece, where the young women will explore the history of Ancient Goddess Temples, the sensuality of the glorious beaches, and the spirituality of the power places along the ancient islands.   While in reflection and discovery, the young women will be guided to use all the tools of the past and present to create their own story and began their own journeys of freedom, joy, and strength,  They will begin the chapters of HERstory.

Finishing with an eight-week mentorship program of integration, the young women will be coached to strengthen the lessons of their experience and fully integrate the lessons into everyday space via work, education, and family life. They will continue into offering and sharing their story with the next group of young women that enter the HERstory program.

The Truth Foundation is influencing and inspiring young women to be courageous, to be bold enough to write their own stories. It is our intention to support their process to live their lives with truth, justice, and loyalty beginning with themselves continuing with their family and friends and beyond, into their community.
